# Kentucky burn bans today

County judge-executives issue local burn bans (KRS 149.401) and the Division of Forestry lists the ones it hears about, so a new ban can be missing here. During forest fire hazard seasons (February 15 to April 30 and October 1 to December 15) burning within 150 feet of woods or brush is illegal from 6 am to 6 pm everywhere in Kentucky.
